I love to cook! I try to eat clean and use organic, fresh and local ingredients whenever I can. My husband Chris and I love making pasta from scratch and making wine too. We’ve been trying to grow our own veggies since 2008. We also love farmers markets and belonging to a CSA. Our two trips to Italy, really inspired us to change the way we eat. They focus on local, in season, fresh ingredients all the time. That is the norm there. We wish it could be the norm here too. Plus I have developed quite a fear of chemicals and artificial ingredients prevalent in all aspects of our everyday lives. It’s not easy being green, like Kermit the Frog says, but it is so important! We just had a baby boy, Matteo, in April 2011. he has a milk protein/soy protein sensitivity. So at least until he is 9 months I am no longer eating dairy or soy.
