csa 2012 week 4

I am going to try to list each week what I plan to make with each item!

What’s in the Share?

“French Breakfast” radish, a bunch.

probably just gonna slice these up and saute them in butter. we LOVE radishes sauteed with butter!

Napa cabbage, a head.

sweet and spicy pork and napa cabbage stir fry with spicy noodles, made with chicken instead

Rainbow chard, a bunch.

hoping to try this Swiss Chard, Goat Cheese and Prosciutto Tart

Spinach, 3/4 pound. 


Lettuce, a head of romaine and a head of light green oak called “panisse”.


Dill, a bunch.

Farmgirl Susan’s Beyond Easy Dill & Cheddar Beer Bread Recipe????

Red kale, a bunch.

(swapped this for more spinach – so Laura and I each got our own bag of it, it is so YUMMY!)

Snow peas, one last pint. 

last week I steamed these and then put them in some butter and salt and they were divine! but maybe add to napa cabbage dish

Kohlrabi, a bunch.

might try the fries recipe the farm sent in their newsletter or add it to the napa cabbage recipe

Scallions, a bunch.

add to napa cabbage dish?
