OK so this isn’t a real recipe. But did you know that if you slice up strawberries and sprinkle sugar on them (I did 3 tbsp of sugar for 1 pint of strawberries), then let them sit for about 20 minutes and mush them a tiny bit with a potato masher they become so sweet and release tons of juice perfect for strawberry shortcake?!?! well that is exactly what I did with our strawberries. then put them on top of a warm biscuit (bought frozen and then baked) and topped with yummy homemade whipped cream. delicious!!
