from grace note farm’s link above:

“Winter has settled upon us here in Central Massachusetts, yet we can sense that the darkness now brings the promise of light in the spring. The seeds of next year’s abundance have already been formed. Even in the stillness of winter, you can continue to get much of your food from local farmers. Fresh eggs arrive every day, and this Fall’s harvest of meat, grains, honey, apples, and dried spices, have been put by to nourish you throughout the year. Farmers need your support in the winter more than ever, as they lose the foot traffic produced by farm stands and the cash flow received from weekly farmer’s markets.

To make it more convenient for you to continue eating sustainably, locally produced food throughout the winter months, we have planned a January Local Food Get Together at the Busa Farmstand in Lexington, MA on Jan 26 from 4:00 to 7:00. Use the form below to order a variety of Grace Note Farm products as well as organic food grown by some of our friendly neighboring farms, and we will deliver it to you in Lexington. Getting together around the theme of local food is always inspiring, so we hope you’ll come out and meet some new friends, and possibly make a new connection with a farm that you haven’t purchased from previously. Please feel free to email or call us if you have any questions about the growing conditions or animal husbandry practices for any of the products on the order form. If you know of any other products grown in Central Mass that you would like to see added to this list, drop us a line and we’ll see if they are obtainable in time to bring in January.”
