for Thanksgiving: Southern Peach Yam Bake

every year my MIL assigns me sweet potatoes to make

every year it is a different recipe.

this year she asked me to make this….
not sure where she got it from. Everyone seemed to love it at dinner, I didn’t even try it! I detest raisins! and the peaches in a jar gross me out. But it was fun and easy to make

Southern Peach Yam Bake
½ cup packed brown sugar
½-1 cup chopped pecans
3 tbsp flour
one large can and one small can of yams, drained
½ tsp nutmeg
1 (16 oz) can of peach slices drained
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 cup of raisins

Combine sugar, flour and nutmeg, cut into margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add nuts and raisins. Arrange yams and peaches in a casserole sprinkle with sugar mixture. Bake at 350 for 35 min
